The guides are independent providers

City Tours Europe is a directory. The tour guides presented here work on their own account, under their own name and on their own responsibility. The contract for a tour is made directly between you and the guide. City Tours Europe is neither a tour operator nor a travel agency nor an appointed agent, takes no part in the booking and receives no commission.

Liability for content

Descriptions of the tours, durations, meeting points and prices come from the guides themselves and are binding only on the guide who provides them. We publish them to the best of our knowledge, but cannot guarantee that they are correct or up to date: only the guide concerned can confirm what they offer today and on what terms.

We are liable for our own content in accordance with §§ 7 to 10 of the German Digital Services Act (Digitale-Dienste-Gesetz). However, we are not obliged to monitor third-party information transmitted or stored, or to investigate circumstances indicating unlawful activity. As soon as we become aware of a specific infringement, we will remove the content concerned without delay.

This website links to the guides’ websites and to other third-party pages whose content we cannot influence. No unlawful content was apparent at the time the links were set. Permanent monitoring of the linked pages is not reasonable without concrete indications of an infringement; a link reported as problematic will be removed without delay.

The texts written for this website are subject to German copyright law. Reproduction, adaptation and distribution beyond the limits of the law require our written consent.

The photos come from three sources: from the guides themselves, who have granted us the right to publish them on their pages; from Wikimedia Commons under a free licence or in the public domain; and from Pixabay under the Pixabay licence. The author and, where applicable, the licence are shown on every image and link to the source. The guides’ photos may not be reused without their consent; for all others, the terms of the respective licence apply.

Consumer dispute resolution

We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board within the meaning of § 36 of the German Consumer Dispute Resolution Act (Verbraucherstreitbeilegungsgesetz).

A dispute about a tour exists between the traveller and the guide, not with City Tours Europe.
