Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted by Mittwald CM Service GmbH & Co. KG, Königsberger Straße 4–6, 32339 Espelkamp, Germany. The servers are located in Germany: no data is transferred to countries outside the European Union.
With every request, the host automatically records technical data: IP address, date and time of the request, page requested, amount of data transferred, status code, browser type and version, operating system and, where applicable, the referring page. These data are used solely to deliver the page, keep operations stable and fend off attacks. They are not linked to your person and not used for profiling.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of the website.
Mittwald is a processor within the meaning of Art. 28 GDPR, on the basis of a data processing agreement.
When you write to a guide
The guides’ contact details are shown openly on the page, and email links open your own email program. Your message goes directly to the guide and does not pass through us. We learn nothing of it, do not store it and keep no trace of it.
Each guide is an independent provider and solely responsible for the data you entrust to them. For anything concerning those data, please contact the guide.
When you write to us
If you write to contact@city-tours-europe.com, we process your address and
the content of your message solely in order to reply. The legal basis is
Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if the request concerns a contractual relationship or
its initiation, otherwise point (f). Messages are deleted as soon as they
are no longer needed and no statutory retention periods apply.
Links to other websites
The city pages link to the guides’ websites, and the image credits to Wikimedia Commons and Pixabay. As soon as you follow such a link, this policy no longer applies, but that of the website you visit. We have no influence on the processing there.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right at any time to access (Art. 15),
rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing
(Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object (Art. 21) to processing
based on our legitimate interest. A message to
contact@city-tours-europe.com is sufficient.
